Radiant Minds Academy is a small school in Ikeja where children are taught the Nigerian curriculum by teachers who know them. We are as serious about how a child treats the person beside them as we are about their reading and their numbers.

Three decisions shape the way this school is run, and all three are deliberate.

Classes kept small

Classes are kept deliberately small. It means a teacher can hear a child read, catch a gap in their numeracy before it settles into a habit, and follow up when a child needs attention.

The Nigerian curriculum

We teach the Nigerian curriculum across the school. In the primary years that means a firm footing in reading and numeracy; in the secondary years, junior and senior classes with science and arts streams.

Pastoral care, and the hours after school

A strong pastoral programme runs alongside the lessons, and after-school care keeps children supervised, busy and safe on the school grounds until 5pm.

Radiant Minds Academy runs three programmes. Which one a child joins depends on their age.

  • Ages 5–11

    Primary School

    Small classes, the Nigerian curriculum, and a focus on reading and numeracy while the foundations are being laid.

  • Ages 11–16

    Secondary School

    Junior and senior secondary, with science and arts streams.

  • Until 5pm

    After-school care

    Supervised homework, clubs and activities once the school day has ended.
