How we work

Confident learners, character first.

Radiant Minds is a small school, and we keep it that way. Classes stay small across both stages, and the Nigerian curriculum is taught in full — with reading and numeracy given real time in the primary school, and science and arts streams running through the secondary school.

Alongside the lessons there is a strong pastoral programme, and after-school care that keeps pupils supervised until 5pm. Parents in Lagos come to Radiant Minds looking for a small, disciplined school, and the pastoral side of the school is a large part of what that means.

“Character first” is our shorthand for the balance we keep: pupils who are confident enough to speak up in a small class, and disciplined enough to do the work.

Confident learners, character first.

Where our pupils go

Our pupils go on to some of the best secondary schools in Lagos.

That is the school’s own measure of itself, and the one we are gladest to be asked about.
